They go out and promote the chosen product via websites, ads, etc. and if someone buys the product through the affiliate’s link/site, the affiliate will earn a commission, a cut of the total sale price.

Different products/vendors offer different commission rates, up to 75%. So if you sell a product for 0, you can make anywhere from -75. Well, Clickbank also takes a small percentage fee too, so maybe a little less than that.

The hard work comes from learning how to promote these products well. If you’re not careful, you can lose a lot of money. Many beginners are scared to invest money upfront, so they go the free route of SEO (search engine optimization), the art of getting your website to show up in the first page of Google when someone searches for a term (called a keyword).

You pay monthly to be a member. You get paid to recruit new members and to sell their products. That would be ok except that there are so many complaints about the products. Weight-loss programs and fitness programs for expensive prices. You never earn enuf to cover your investment to join.

The main problem is that 100,000 people have already signed up to sell Clickbank products. You will be competing with them. If you had a guarantee that you would be competing with no more than 500 people, you could join. But everyone is selling the exact same thing (on the same place- the internet).
