When you go into the marketplace at Clickbank, look for the little icons under the merchant’s listing. If there is one that looks like a light or two crossed tools, then most likely that merchant has what you are looking for.

They have the icons that show you they have all kinds of tools you can use as their affiliate. If you have the rights like Master Resell Rights or Private Label Rights that allows you to use these products as bonus then it’s no problem. In my knowlegde you don’t violate any clickbank TOS – actually it’s quite a common strategy amongst Affiliates.

I have to disagree with the other answers. I think you can do very well. Me and my friends are affiliate marketers and we know it works. It comes down to you – not the market. My friend just emailed me today with his 5k check for 3 weeks work. And he’s lazy!

But you have to find the right resources to use. You have to know how to use your skills, time and money to make it work. The web wants content and that’s what you give it.

How much commission you make depends entirely on how much work you put in. I know guys that make 3k a month and are happy with it, well others say they’re going to break the 100k month…

Start by learning Google AdWords. That’s where I started. Focus on the long -term strategy. Don’t go in for a quick buck.. doesn’t work like that.

The key thing is pay-per-click advertising. You bid on the keywords/phrases from Google, MSN, or Yahoo, and have the traffic sent directly to the the affiliate marketed site, whether it be for loans or magazine subscriptions, or whatever you are trying to sell.

You do have to have your own website if you are going to sell on Clickbank. It also has to be a paid website meaning it cannot be a “free” one.

I ran into that issue when I got my e-book published through them so I had to pay around to GoDaddy.com for hosting then clickbank approved my e-book.

Then you can set up the affiliate marketing for your book.
