I have to agree with Scott – I also add that in my signature when ever I can even on my emails that I send out and even to friends – you just never know. But I also like using a squeeze page to capture the person’s name and get them on my list – there are many places that you can add squeeze page for free. Social media (facebook) is also a great place – there are groups created just for this person and I also like using Ning social sites.

If you are just starting out which you are I highly recommend that you learn the free way to promote clickbank products. You could use us free ads, ezine articles, squidoo plenty of places to advertise for free but just because they let you advertise for free doesn’t mean that you will get good targeted traffic to your affiliate links.

In order to make sure that you get the targeted (people that are ready to buy) traffic then you need to learn how to find that traffic and then send them to your site and your site optimized to convert them.

Google Adwords because you’ll get immediate traffic looking at your site like in 15 minutes. The only problem you’ll have with this method is you can’t link directly to your affiliate product. It will have to be either your blog or a landing page that indirectly links them to your affiliate product.

You can advertise on Adwords without website. This is known as direct linking.

This is what you put on adwords:
Display Url: www.registryeasy.com (an example of merchant’s website)
Destination URL: http://xxxxxxx.hop.clickbank.net (Your affiliate link)

However do note that with direct linking, you would be subject to Google’s no 2 url rule. This means that at any one time, only 1 merchant url can be displayed. So if you have many affiliates who are doing direct linking, there would be a competition war for the top spot. You may need to pay more.

That said, there are people who are very successful just doing direct linking only.
