Tips on marketing and selling my e-book using Clickbank?

I have written a book I would like to sell, at least initially, as an e-book aimed at rising college freshmen on how to be successful in college.

I have heard some good things about clickbank.com and was wondering if anyone had some advice for a non-tech author like me.

Answer:

Have you looked through all the links available at the Link 1 below? There could be some useful information there.

As you are specifically targeting the college freshmen this idea may appeal to you. First contact the college you attended and speak with the librarian there and ask for help. Find out how you can promote your book on their website ( via a link to your website perhaps). Offer to pay them a fee per sale generated if necessary. If they are happy to accommodate you then there is a good chance other college librarians will also be interested.

Alternatively, provide free copies to college libraries that can be used only in their reference section and not loaned out to students. This could encourage students to buy a copy (make sure that this copy gives clear instructions regarding where to go to download a copy).

You could also make it available on Lulu.com (Link 2 below) which is a print on demand website that has been operating for many years and will not cost you anything but your time to upload your e-book. You could also make it available in paperback or hard cover at that site.

Best wishes for your project.

E-Books are a great way to earn a part time income. E-Books are increasing in popularity each day. Clickbank is one of the many sites to sell your digital product on.
This is one of the best site on the internet when it comes to self-publishing is http://www.Lulu.com. You need to sign up with them and upload your e-Book. Your e-Book can be a Microsoft word doc or PDF file. If you have a text script you can still upload it to them and they will convert your e-Book into a down loadable file. They also provide cover art if you don’t have one. They take 25% of the sales revenue for hosting and selling your e-book. So if your e-Book is priced at $20 you get $15 and they keep $5 for every sale.

Hope you find this answer helpful.
    All the best.
